Admitting Assistant/Transporter

Description
Greet patients and visitors in Admitting Lobby, assist with registration of patients, escort newly admitted patients to their rooms, provide patient wheelchair transportation, deliver patient mail, other related duties. Uniform and lunch provided. Free and easy parking.

Care-Ring

Description
Make telephone calls to discharged patients to assess their level of satisfaction with the hospital stay. Uniform and lunch provided. Free and easy parking.

Clinics

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Description
Clerical: typing, computer entry, filing, light bookkeeping. These positions are for area clinics including Rockville Family Practice, Speedway, etc... Uniform and lunch provided. Free and easy parking.

Emergency Room

Description
Volunteers are assigned to a specific department to perform varied duties (such as light clerical, typing, computer entry, filing, answering phones, mail prep, pickup/deliveries) in areas of Accounting, Food Service, Human Resources, Payroll, Perceptions, Pharmacy etc. Specific assignments are made if needs are defined in the specific department.
