Westminster Neighborhood Ministries

Westminster Neighborhood Ministries is a welcoming, safe, and loving Christian community in the near east side of Indianapolis that partners with the neighborhood families, Presbyterian churches, and community organizations to serve local families through:

The provision of food and clothing that meets families' basic needs;

The provision of children's programs that nurture, are safe, are educational, and are developmental:

The provision of supportive services, e.g. legal clinics, adult education, and support groups, and resource and referral in partnership with other community organizations.

Mentor

Starts: March 1st, 2009

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Description
Every Tuesday, volunteers work one-on-one with Unlimited Kids participants. Mentors cultivate personal relationships with neighborhood children. Additional activities include: homework assistance, educational games, computer games, and gym activities.
