Surgery Ambassador at St.Vincent Women's Hospital

Starts: March 1st, 2009

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Description
ROLE OVERVIEW: Ambassador will assist staff members in the Surgery Waiting area by greeting and escorting families and visitors. Provide hospital information and tracking the location of families and friends of surgery patients.

AVAILABLE HOURS: 4 hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Notes / Special Requirements

Two Tb tests
Copy of your Immunization Records
Parental Consent if Under 18 Years of Age
Criminal Background Check (must be obtained by volunteer if under the age of 18)
2 Hour Hospital Orientation

Musician Ambassador at St.Vincent Women's Hospital

Starts: March 1st, 2009

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Description
ROLE OVERVIEW: Ambassador will provide soothing music to enhance our healing environment. Providing music directly to the patients, families, and staff for their enjoyment.

AVAILABLE HOURS: Any hours between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
