Special Olympics Indiana is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in over 21 Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, reaching nearly 12,000 athletes throughout the state of Indiana. Special Olympics Indiana is part of the international network of accredited Special Olympics Programs that reaches more than 1 million athletes with intellectual disabilities worldwide.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Description
Perform short-term tasks associated with a Special Olympics Indiana sports event or fundraising event. This is usually a one-day commitment of four to eight hours. Day-of-event volunteers may:
* Escort athletes.
* Serve meals.
* Officiate games.
* Register volunteers and event participants.
* Keep score.
* Present awards.
* Provide first aid.
* Set up/tear down equipment.
* Help with post-event clean-up.
* Assist with event hospitality.
