ROI is a community-based initiative that seeks to reduce poor academic test scores, the incidence of multiple suspension, chronic absenteeism, and negative behavioral outbursts associated with at-risk youth. More specifically, the program seeks to have a positive impact on the children of incarcerated parents as they represent a statistical greater risk for becoming a new generation of offender.
