Distibute marketing materials

Exhibits Assistant

Description
Assist the exhibits department in deinstalling and installing art shows.

Docent/tour guide

Volunteers must be at least 17 years old.

Description
Give guided tours of the Indianapolis Art Center's building, current contemporary exhibitions and ARTSPARK. Guides must be available to make a commitment to training and giving tours during the week and on weekends.

Notes / Special Requirements
Guides must be available to come for training every other month for a few hours. Guides must be available to give a tour at least one time over a 2 week period (may include a weekend day). Possible night hours available as well.

Love for art and a desire to learn. Public speaking interest or experience preferred. NO prior experience necessary.

40th Broad Ripple Art Fair

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

Description
The Art Center is celebrating its 40th Broad Ripple Art Fair May 15 & 16. With 20,000 visitors in 2009 and nearly 250 national and international artists, we need over 400 volunteers to help us make this event a success. It is a big year for the Art Center and we hope you will celebrate it with us. Registration begins February 1 and assignments are on a first come first serve basis. Please complete all volunteer registrations on our volunteer website. You can browse shifts and times and sign up for as many or few as you like. Volunteers receive free admission and a free Art Fair t-shirt for volunteering.
Notes / Special Requirements
Assist with set-up, ticket taking, art activities, artist areas, and general hospitality. Ages 14 & 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration and cancellation deadline May 2.
