Camp Ability

Description
Volunteers are needed to assist staff with children who have disabilities, ages 4-9. Camp Ability is from June 14 to July 22, 9 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday. Volunteer shifts are flexible. Camp is at Easter Seals Crossroads, 4740 Kingsway Drive.

Camp R.O.C.K.S!

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

Description
A one week outdoor camp for young people with autism, ages 10-17. Volunteers assist staff with activities including science exploration, swimming, nature hikes, arts and crafts and music. Camp R.O.C.K.S! (Respecting Others' Capabilities is the Key to Success) is Sunday to Friday, June 27 to July 2 at 5050 E. 211th Street in Noblesville. Volunteer times are flexible.

Parents Night Out

Description
Parents Night Out is an on-going volunteer opportunity that is on the first four Fridays of every month from 5:30 to 10 pm at four locations around the city. Volunteers assist staff to provide care for children with special needs and their siblings so the parents can enjoy an evening out. Activities include games, puzzles, crafts, reading and snacks.

Lose the Training Wheels

Description
Lose the Training Wheels is a bicycle camp for children with disabilities or special needs. Volunteers assist participants in learning how to ride a bike without training wheels using adaptive equipment. LTTW is Monday to Friday, June 7 to June 11, 8:30 am to 5 pm at Perry Park, 415 E. Stop 11 Road. Sessions are 75 minutes long and volunteers help the same child each day for one session.

Camp Ability South

Volunteers are needed to assist staff with children who have disabilities, ages 5-11. Camp Ability South is from June 14 to July 22, 9 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday. Volunteer shifts are flexible. Camp is at North Grove Elementary School, 3280 W. Fairview Road in Greenwood.
