Boutique Assistant

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Description
A Boutique Assistant is a person who volunteers on a weekly basis and helps with boutique maintenance. Boutique Maintenance includes sorting through donated items, assimilating donated items into the boutique, merchandising the boutique and ensuring that the appearance of our boutique is at the level of well-kept department store. This role is instrumental as the Suits for Success program and clothing donations continue to grow.

This role is ideal for you if:
· You like volunteering in a role where you make a direct impact
· You are able to volunteer weekly for 2-4 hours
· You enjoy sorting through and merchandising clothing, shoes, purses and accessories
· You are available to volunteer during one of these timeframes: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
· You have the ability to lift, carry and hang large amounts of clothing
Notes / Special Requirements

The process of becoming a Boutique Assistant includes:
· Fill out the online application
· Attend the Suits to Self-Sufficiency Volunteer Orientation to understand the mission of the organization and how we empower women
· Shadow a current Boutique Assistant to better understand what the volunteer role entails
· Train with the Program Manager for two hours during your regularly scheduled Boutique Assistant time to learn how to best perform your volunteer role
