Mentor: Site-based Big

Starts: March 1st, 2009

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Description
Be a part of something "Big" by engaging a child in a one-to one mentoring relationship. In our Site-based program Bigs and Littles meet at a school to share fun activities such as playing games, working on provided activity sheets, reading a book, or just talking. As a mentor you make an impact and improve your community, gain valuable experience, explore your strengths and weaknesses, and develop leadership skills.
Notes / Special Requirements
Age: 18+ or 15+ if a part of group, chaperoned by adult. Valid driver’s license or State ID, 1 – 3 references, background check and interview. Training and orientation provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Internship:

Starts: March 1st, 2009

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Description
We offer internship opportunities to fulfill University service requirements.

Mentor: Community-based Big

Starts: March 1st, 2009

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Description
Be a part of something "Big" by engaging a child in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. In our Community-based program Bigs and Littles meet in the community to share fun activities such as go to a movie, attend a ball game and play catch in the park. As a mentor you make an impact and improve your community, gain valuable experience, explore your strengths and weaknesses, and develop leadership skills.

Age: 19+ or 16+ if paired with an adult role model 21+ Valid driver’s license or State ID, 1 – 3 references, background check and interview. Training and orientation provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters.
