Description
The 500 Festival is looking for volunteers to help produce events and programs to celebrate the legacy of the Indianapolis 500. This year’s theme “Embrace the Pace” incorporates the importance of the Indianapolis 500 and the 500 Festival to Indiana’s history.

Whether it’s participating in Chase 500 Festival Kids’ Day and watching children run in their “Rookie Run,” being an usher or the all important “Ask Me” Assistant at the IPL 500 Festival Parade, or helping out at the American Family Insurance 500 Festival Community Day, this is an experience you will never forget. So be a legend in your own time and volunteer with the 500 Festival!

All volunteer opportunities for the 2010 season will be available through online registration starting January 20th. Visit www.500festival.com for more information.
Notes / Special Requirements
All volunteers must be 16 years or older. If working with children (Kids’ events include: Rookie Run, Kids’ Day, Education Program), a background check is mandatory.
